  1. I enjoyed this thoughtful story. I liked how the narrator’s identity was not revealed until far into the story, and the gender seemed ambiguous. Hope you don’t mind that I’m imagining a female narrator.

    I couldn’t help but sympathize with the Trickster, I like his lines about what he changed, and how he laughed at the end.

    • No, I don’t mind at all. Since the universe didn’t really exist yet, neither did gender, per se, so if you prefer to think of the narrator as a woman, that is completely okay…
